Parent Training & Counselling

You are your child's most powerful therapist. We give you the knowledge, strategies, and support to make every moment count.

About This Service

Why Parent Training Matters

Research consistently shows that when parents are trained and actively involved in their child's therapy, outcomes improve dramatically. Children spend most of their time at home — not in therapy sessions. The strategies you use every day, in every interaction, are what drives the most lasting change.

"The most powerful intervention a child can receive is a parent who understands them, knows how to support them, and has the tools to do so confidently every day."

Our Parent Training & Counselling service equips you with practical tools, evidence-based strategies, and the emotional support you need to confidently navigate parenting a child with special needs. Whether you're managing behaviour, supporting communication, or simply looking for guidance — we're here.

Benefits of Parent Training & Counselling
Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do both parents need to attend?+
Ideally yes — consistency is key. When both parents use the same strategies, children make faster progress. However, we can work with whoever is the primary caregiver.
Is this the same as family therapy?+
Not exactly. Parent training is skills-focused — we teach you specific, evidence-based strategies. Counselling provides emotional support and processing. We offer both, and often combine them.
My child has autism — is there specific training?+
Yes. We offer ASD-specific parent training covering communication, behaviour, sensory needs, and school advocacy — tailored to your child's individual profile and ASD support level.
Are group workshops available online?+
Yes. We offer online group workshops via Zoom — making them accessible to families across Pakistan and internationally.
I'm feeling completely overwhelmed. Is that normal?+
Absolutely — and incredibly common. Parenting a child with special needs is one of the most demanding things a person can do. Our counselling service is here specifically for moments like this.
