Behaviour Therapy & ABA

Building positive behaviours, reducing challenging patterns, and developing essential life skills through evidence-based ABA and behaviour management techniques.

About This Service

What is Behaviour Therapy?

Behaviour Therapy is a structured, evidence-based approach that helps children develop positive behaviours, reduce harmful or challenging ones, and build the social and functional skills they need to thrive.

"Every behaviour is communication. Our role is to understand what a child is telling us — then give them better tools to say it."

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the gold-standard science behind our behaviour therapy programme. It uses systematic observation, data collection, and positive reinforcement to produce meaningful, lasting change — in a compassionate, child-centred way.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is ABA only for children with autism?+
No. While ABA was originally developed for autism, it is highly effective for ADHD, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and any child who needs support with behaviour, learning, or social skills.
Is behaviour therapy punishing children?+
Absolutely not. Modern ABA and behaviour therapy is entirely positive — we focus on building skills and rewarding desired behaviours. We do not use punishment.
How long before we see results?+
Many families notice changes within the first 4–8 weeks. Significant skill development typically takes 3–6 months of consistent therapy and home practice.
Do parents need to be involved?+
Yes — parent involvement is a core part of our programme. We provide parent coaching so strategies work at home, at school, and in the community.
Can behaviour therapy be done online?+
Yes, particularly parent training and consultation sessions. Direct child therapy is most effective in person but online sessions can complement the programme.
